After much hard and long deliberation from our esteemed panel of over 75 judges, we are proud to announce our programming selections and lineup for the Grove & Pines Film Festival 2026! First, I want to take this opportunity to thank the filmmakers for trusting us with their amazing work. Without you, the world is less bright, less explored, and less celebrated. Also, to our fabulous judges for taking time out of their beautifully busy lives to screen these films! They have not taken this honor lightly, which has been evident in the detailed and thoughtful feedback they have given for each of our submitted films. As a first year festival, we could not have imagined we would be blessed with such a staggering amount of authentic and important queer storytelling. Films featuring stunning trans icons like Miss Peppermint, frightening and sexy horror shorts produced by Jinkx Monsoon, a beautiful musical moment with Alan Cumming, and so much more magic! We also have inviting and varied event offerings, from a co-branded underwear party to an early AM sound bath, there truly is something to gravitate toward at any hour of the day. Recap We Had a Hot & Stickyyy 4th of July in the FI Pines! The Invasion had our jaws on the ground, while the vibes were high and the tides were low, we danced the nights away!

Where Your Support Goes We're a Proud 501(c)(3) GAPFF is a proud 501(c)(3) non-profit film festival. Every dollar we raise goes back into the community: putting on this tentpole cultural event, building off season moments of connection, uplifting marginalized voices, and offering the Erin Carine Memorial Grant for Queer Creatives, which awards $5,000 to LGBTQ filmmakers. Our first recipient will be announced in the next newsletter!
